Crete is Greeces largest island, and from our perspective a solid contender for most beautiful aswell. The lush country side is quite a contrast to many of the more arid Greek Islands. Almost all the food is produced & grown right there on the island, the climate is incredible, the water crystal clear, and the locals could not be friendlier. There are mountains, some with snow capped peaks, contrasting to the natural beauty along the islands shores. There really is no place like it.
