This is a place of breathtaking scenery, lively animal life & a very different experience of life in contrast to the modern cityscape we came from. To ensure a safe & timely journey, we enlisted the help of a skilled local guide. He drove us to all the top spots, including the famous ricepaddies, the monkey forest, a luwak coffee farm and much more. The pictures above tell only a fraction of the story.
If you ever decide to visit this place, we highly suggest hiring the help of Made Surdana, our guide & now friend. He’ll ensure you see all the right places, in comfort & with his in depth knowledge of the islands many traditions and attractions.
